Joe Hale, age 73, of Adona, passed away, Monday, March 21, 2016. He was born July 1, 1942 in Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of Earnest David Hale and Violet Hubbard Hale. He was a retired carpenter, Baptist minister, cattleman, and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Welch Hale of Adona; son, Buck Hale of Russellville; daughter, Donna Terry and husband, Larry of Greenbrier; brothers, James David Hale of Conway; Johnny Hale and wife, Jeanetta of Rosebud; Floyd Leon Hale and wife, Doris of Adona; sister, Linda Robrahn and husband, Larry of Siloam Springs; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wayne Hale; sister, Wanda Cossey, and a son, Billy Dale Hale.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at Harris Chapel with Bro. Wesley Tyus and Bro. J.D. Tyson officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the funeral home.
