Joey Darlene Babcock Brister was born February 11, 1941 in Pampa, Texas to Franklin Babcock and Jessie Byars Babcock. She married Daniel "Danny" Ray Brister on June 18, 1957 on her family's farm south of Pampa, Texas. Their marriage was rich with love, laughter, and a never-ending bond. She was a homemaker, family matriarch, and stunning role-model. She was known by her friends and family as being a caring, kind, and gentle-hearted listener. She was warm, charismatic, and filled rooms with positive energy. She lived her life for her family, putting their well-being before her own. She loved traveling, vacations, and staying sharp on politics and the news.
