John Tilden Suggs, Jr., 73 of Milan, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at home.

His body has been cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place privately at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

John was born on February 8, 1942 in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of John T. and Anna L. (Hodge) Suggs, Sr. In earlier years he worked for the Sheraton Hotel, Rock Island. He later worked at Denny's Restaurant, Moline, for 20 years.

Survivors include sisters, Mary Proehl and Betty Roberts, both of Milan, and a large extended family. His parents, and a brother, James, preceded Mr. Suggs in death.
