John Violante Jr, 72 of Royal Palm Beach went to be with the Lord on Monday October 23, 2017 due to a long term illness. He was the Beloved husband of Carol A. (Myers) Violante who enjoyed a Blessed marriage of 54 years.

Born January 8, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ he was the son of the late John A., Sr. and Evelyn (Holland) Violante.

He was a successful plaster foreman until an injury in 1982, which at the time he became disabled. He was part of the Bricklayer and Allied Craft Workers Union for 54 years.

John enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, and loved being a jack of all trades.

He was a member of Acts 2 Worship Center in Loxahatchee. What John most enjoyed was teaching others about the Lord.

In addition to his loving wife Carol he is survived by two daughters Sharon Goodwin (Nick) and Tina Keller (Steven); four grandchildren Taylor "Bear" Keller, Matthew "Matty" Goodwin, Johnathan "Johnny" Keller, Jennifer "Jenny" Goodwin; twin sister Vicky Campbell (Gene) and two brothers Joseph Violante (Joan), James Violante (Irene); and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Sunday October 29 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm at the Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth. Funeral Services will be on Monday October 30 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Lyerla officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth.
