John Wayne Felderman, a 10-year resident of Paris, Texas and formerly of St. Anne, Illinois, died suddenly Wednesday, August 10 at the age of 75.

Born July 6, 1936 in Belleview, Iowa, John was the son of Harlan "Hy" and Bertha Felderman. He grew up on a dairy farm alongside four siblings: Harry, Harlene "Sis" Breitbach (James), William Quinn (deceased), and Thomas. A Navy veteran, John served stateside and in Okinawa, Japan.

John married the love of his life, Donna Felderman (nee Pickel), in June of 1962, and were married for 49 wonderful years. Along with a 30 year career with the Ford Motor Company in Chicago, Illinois, he and Donna owned and worked a small farm in St. Anne. John was a devout Catholic, a faithful advocate for the Rosary, and a supporter of many organizations and charities. He enjoyed his retirement in both Paris, Texas and Tucson, Arizona. He loved good food, a good joke, country music, dancing, spending time with his friends and traveling across the country with his wife.

John was a good father to four children: Angela Baumann (Don), Steven (Martina), Debra Williams and James (deceased). In addition, he was a grandfather to six grandchildren and a great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service for family and friends will be held in the spring of 2012 in Tucson, Arizona at the Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery. Donations and/or good deeds can be made in John's honor in support of our Veterans, the Salvation Army, or the charity of your choice. John will be missed, but he lived without regrets, and loved his family, his friends and life.
