Jonathon Micheal Jarvis, 19, of Ravenna, died Friday, May 31, 2013.

He was born June 5, 1993 in Ravenna, to Jerry and Teresa (Roseling) Jarvis. Jon played football and wrestled for Kent Roosevelt High School. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and golf. Jon had a great sense of humor and was known for his bright personality and practical jokes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son.

He is survived by son, Jacob Micheal Jarvis of Ravenna; girlfriend, Brittney Kelly of Ravenna; parents, Teresa and Jim Monaco of Brady Lake; brothers, Dustin and Mitchell Monaco both of Ravenna; grandfather, Micheal Roseling of Ravenn; grandmother, Deborah Breeden of Ravenna; step-grandmother, Lisa Roseling of Ravenna; grandparents, Jerry and Barb Jarvis of Akron; grandfather, Jerry (Jan) Monaco of Brady Lake; grandmother, Janet Monaco of Kent; great grandmother, Shirley Taylor of Ravenna; and great grandmother, Lois Roseling of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jarvis, great grandparents, Louis and Betty Monaco; great grandfather, Maston Davis; and great grandfather, Clay Roseling.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 5th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Ernest Mounts officiating, where friends may call two hours before the service. Burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family, c/o Hometown Bank.
