My dear love, I can't put into words what these past 5 years has meant to me! I definitely loved our time together. You made me feel so special. We enjoyed our car rides, our laughter and smiles and kisses!! You definitely always made our outings so much fun. I loved our cruises...our trips to Vegas - you will always be in my heart.

I have many good memories of Uncle Joe. Whenever I would spend the night at the Ortiz house, he would always wish me a good morning and joke around with me at the table. He was always a good hugger and always had something funny to say to me. He was sweet, funny and I can't believe we won't be able to see him at our family get-togethers. He will be missed immensely.

At one of our family annual camping trip to Carpinteria State Beach, Uncle Joe and I got to talking about his fostering experiences. He fondly remembered many of his foster children, some of the experiences he and his wife had with their foster children. I think we talked for over an hour, but it seemed but a few minutes. He talked about their adoption of Makaylah and he was beaming. He was interested in how Harmony was doing in school

My memories of my dad when I was a little girl was that I would wait 4 him 2 come home from work. As soon as he would enter the door, I'd run to him, he would hug & kiss me then I would take his gum out of his mouth. Sounds gross I know but that was my dad & it came from him. My dad & I chose to purchase our beautiful home together, which was huge 4 me. This house is him. He chose it before I even saw it. It's ok though because this house made him happy.
Dad, I miss you so so much. We haven't been able to go into your room except to get paperwork since you left. I am so sorry for doing what you asked me not to. I'm so sorry you didn't make it back home.
The only things that I have peace with is knowing you aren't hurting anymore with any health issues & you being back with the love of your life, mom. I'm doing my best taking care of Makaylah & the house. Just so you know, the boys have really stepped up & they've been so supportive 4 me & Makaylah. They are helping me take care of things, you would be so proud of them. Please continue 2 watch after us. I need it more than you know dad. I'm having such a hard time without you.
