Joseph Arthur Rousselle of Weare, NH, died on December 9, 2016 at his residence after a short illness.Joe was born in Rutland, VT on December 4, 1951 the son of Leon W. and Therese (Daunais) Rousselle. He was married to Patricia Christine Profita for 38 years.

He graduated from Manchester Memorial High School in 1970, and went into a career in sales. He became a well- respected expert in the field of paints and professional coatings working for the Sherwin Williams, Glidden and Kyanize Paint companies throughout his career. An avid car enthusiast, he later sold auto parts for Car Quest and still remained friends with his many customers.
Joe was a remarkable man who loved his family and looked for every opportunity to spend time with his great- nieces and nephews. Joe's greatest joy came from spending time with the little ones. Most importantly, he was a loving and supportive husband who created a beautiful home through his wood- working skills and hard work. He supported his wife Patricia, throughout her teaching career by contributing his support to her larger than life school projects. He worked as her set designer, engineer for projects, technical consultant and most importantly, her loving, life partner.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Rousselle of Weare, NH and his sisters, and brothers, Lucille Lingard Frederique of Bedford,NH, Paula Hunt of Bridge City, Texas, Leon Rousselle, Paul Rousselle , Louis Rousselle and John Rousselle all of Manchester, NH. He also leaves behind his mother-in -law, Theresa Profita of Framingham, MA,and sisters-in-law Diane Profita Cherwin of Hancock, NH, Evelyn Profita of Sacremento, CA and Christine Profita Orok of Framingham, MA as well as many nieces, nephews, great -nieces and great- nephews. Joe had many friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 14 from 4 to 7 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 15 at 10 am in Blessed Sacrament Church 14 Elm St. Manchester. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Joe's name be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester 1070 Holt Ave. Suite 1400 Manchester, NH 03104.
