Joseph J. Przewoznik, 87, of Chicago, IL passed away on July 6, 2017 surrounded by family.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00pm on Sunday, July 9th, at Malec Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago. The funeral service will begin at Malec Funeral Home at 9am on Monday July 11th, followed by a mass at Our Lady of Victory located at 5212 W Agitate, Chicago at 10am. Burial will follow the funeral at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.

Joseph was born in Chicago on September 22, 1929. He graduated from Foreman High School where he played football and participated in dancing and plays.

Joseph was married to Lorraine on May 21, 1955; they were married 62 years.

Joseph worked as a printer for IS Berlin Press and other printing companies. He enjoyed polka dancing and woodworking. He was known for his birdhouses and other wood items which he designed, built and painted. He and his wife, Lorraine, were avid polka dancers and travelers, taking numerous trips across the United States. They were crowned the King and Queen of Polka at a Polkafest in Michigan.

Joseph is survived by his wife Lorraine, daughter Theresa, son-in-law Mark Heyes, son Stanley, daughter-in-law Jill, grandchildren Michelle, Daniel and Lily. Many nieces and nephews in the Chicago area, WI, and FL.

Joseph is preceded in death by Parents, Stanley and Angeline Przewoznik, Brothers Ted and Ed, sister Frances Czajkowski and her husband Casmir.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association - Illinois Chapter,
