Joseph Robert "J.R." Griffin, 83, passed away February 24 at DeWitt City Hospital in DeWitt, AR.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy in 1978, and was a carpenter and cabinet maker until 2008.
His survivors include his wife, Janice, and four sons, Bob Griffin, of Bartlett, TN, Randy Griffin, of Oakland, TN, Steve (Carmen) Griffin of Franklin, TN, and Brad (Pam) Griffin of Eads, TN; eight grandchildren; two sisters Jean (Bobby) Boyd of DeWitt and Margaret (Bob) Glass of Charleston, MO.
