Joy Diane Forrest Jacobson was born in De Queen, Arkansas on Sept 17th to her parents Julie and Andy Forrest. Joy passed away on December 11th in Kirkland Washington and is survived by her father Andrew Forrest of Startup WA, sister Becky Kleinknecht of Sammamish WA and her Son Tyler Jacobson of Lake Steven's WA as well as her nieces Emma, Abby and Grace and many friends and family.

Joy was raised in Orofino Idaho and Davis California. She graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1990. After graduation she moved up to Kirkland to be with her family and went to work for Boeing. Joy was married in 1991 and blessed with her son Tyler in 1994.
