Juanita Case Eudy, 98, of Midland, Texas passed away on September 30, 2017.

Juanita was born in Claude, Texas on July 10, 1919, to Harvey S. Case and Vera Thrasher Case.

One of nine children, Juanita attended schools in Umbarger, Estelline, Parnell, Weatherly, Gasoline, and Quitaque, Texas.

When she was a senior in high school, her Dad suddenly passed away, leaving her Mom with seven children at home. Her night job was selling tickets at the Gem Theatre in Turkey, Texas, where she met a local farm boy, Hugh Eudy. They were married on June 29, 1941, and were married 66 years before Hugh's passing in 2007. Six months later after their marriage, Pearl Harbor occurred and Hugh joined the U.S. Navy. He was overseas for almost four years only getting to come home twice in that time.

Juanita was mostly a housewife and Mom to three sons, but later in life worked as a secretary and at the Van Horn school cafeteria.

Juanita and Hugh farmed in Turkey, Texas for a number of years before moving to Van Horn, Texas in 1955. They farmed there for 36 years before retiring and moving to Midland.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hugh Eudy; son Ken Eudy; grandson John Eudy and granddaughter Jana Graves; brothers Renois Case, Oles Case, Jack Case, Bob Case; sisters Ruby Dell Case, Wilmuth Tutor, Frances Mullin and Martha Darling.
