Kathleen "Kathy" Pearson, age 72, of the Tacy Rd., Ellenburg, died July 12, 2015 at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh.
Born on Nov. 2, 1942 in Teaneck, NJ, she was the daughter of Francisco Cassetta and Angeline Izzo.
She was married to Richard A. F. Pearson Sr. on Jan 16, 1965 in Our Lady of Assumption, Emerson, NJ. He predeceased her May 20, 2015.
She had several occupations, retiring from Audio-Video of Northvale, NJ. Moving to the north country with her husband, she became a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Chateaugay and served as a Eucharistic minister. Before moving north, she was a Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Victories Church in Harrington Park, NJ.
Survivors include a son, Richard Pearson Jr., Teaneck, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and John H. Simpson, Harrington Park, NJ; a granddaughter, Kristina L. Simpson, Harrington Park, NJ; two sisters, Angela Barat, Clifton, NJ, Carmela Oliver, Tucson, AZ; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Lynn Pearson, Greenwich, CT.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, and a sister, Dolores Sisco.
Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Wed. July 15 from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
A funeral mass will follow at 2:00 pm at St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay with Rev. John Looby officiating.
