Kathryn Sue Hall, 71, let go of her suffering and left us as gracefully and courageously as she lived her life, while surrounded by her loving family on August 24, 2017.

Born on June 16, 1946 in Englewood, CA, she was the only child and daughter of the late Dalton Lee and Virginia Kindleberger James.

Upon graduating at Seagoville High School, Kathryn continued her education attending Henderson College in Athens, Texas. She then received her Masters in Theology and Sacred Music at LOGOS University.

Kathryn was well known for her charity work through the years. She volunteered at the AIDS Resource Center donating her time, while helping raise awareness within the community. She comforted patients with AIDS, raised money for them, and was a patron of other various fundraisers and non-profits. She was a long time PSSA and PSSA Hall of Fame member. She served on the Board of Directors as Secretary and contributed years of hard work to help the league operate and flourish. Kathryn also served many years on the City Counsel Board.

Lady Kathryn was truly a remarkable woman we all wanted to be or know. She gracefully had many roles as a dedicated wife, mom, "Mimi", and friend. She was often fondly referred to as "The Queen of Everything," by all who knew and loved her. Although if you truly knew her, you know her title was actually "QOFE". She was selfless, kind and her spirit was infectious. Kathryn loved unconditionally, living life with such perseverance and strength. Her legacy will live on through her two girls and grandchildren. Her greatest joys in life was spending time with her family and taking care of her animals.

Kathryn is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald Hall; daughters Lisa Francis and her husband Jon of Princeton, TX and Aimee Hall and her partner Chadwick Greenlee of Mabank, TX; grandchildren Aaron Baker, Kaley Baker and Zoey Greenlee; her precious Yorkie, Sweetie; and adored cat, Tobi; and a host of extended family members and friends that will cherish her memory always and never be forgotten.

Preceded in death are her loving parents Dalton and Virginia James, and her beloved great-grandson Crew Asher Velasquez.

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at The Rock Church located at 14201 US-175.
