Kathy Pitts, 66, passed away at Jackson General Hospital on Friday, March 11, 2016 after suffering a massive stroke.
Kathy was born November 6, 1949 in Jackson, TN to the late Habert and Jessie Tucker. She graduated from South Side High School in 1971 and married Jere Pitts on October 17, 1975. Kathy was a member of Pleasant Springs United Methodist Church and most recently, The Highlands Church, both in Chester County. Kathy was a kind, loving, and generous person who loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her husband, Jere; daughter, Kristi Pitts; grandson, Zachery Pitts; sister, Katie Davis (Tony); special nieces, Jennifer Burkhead and Joy Duck; her husband's family and a host of other family.
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel.
The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Danny Rachel and Bro. Andy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Parkburg Cemetery.
