Kendall Trabold, 84, of Andover, VT passed away on April 2, 2016. He was born in North Adams, Massachusetts, to the late Lillian Cleaver and Charles Trabold. Kendall, affectionately known as "Pop," lived in Andover for the last 30 years with his loving wife Shirley, having just recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. Together they operated the Red Sleigh Gift Shop. Before moving to Vermont, he and his wife lived in Windham, Connecticut, where he first developed his passion for woodworking. Kendall worked as a machinist for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft and as a toolmaker for the United Nuclear Corporation. He also owned and operated a landscaping business for many years.
Kendall is survived by his wife Shirley; a son, Charles Trabold and his wife Helen of Windham, CT; a daughter, Sue Levesque of Scotland, CT; his granddaughter Malinda Tyler and her husband Robert of Brooklyn, CT; and two great-grandchildren Mason and Maticyn.
There are no calling hours. A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Andover Community Church, Andover, VT.
