Mr. Kenneth Ray Fincher passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Rock Haven Nursing Center in Nacogdoches, Texas, at the age of 72.

Born October 26, 1944, Mr. Fincher was a longtime resident of the Nacogdoches area. He retired in 2008 as a maintenance supervisor at NIBCO, where he had faithfully worked for 48 years.

Kenneth had a great love for the outdoors, always happy when hunting and fishing. He had a fascination with genealogy and enjoyed tracing family history. He loved the "babies," his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and appreciated the company of his faithful canine companion, "Max."

He was preceded in death by his father, William Edward "Bill" Fincher, in 1987; mother, Ruby Fay Williams Fincher, in 2005; and his brother, Edward Dean Fincher, in 1958.

His survivors include his children, Ed Fincher and wife Tammy of Nacogdoches, Texas, Michael Fincher and wife Charlotte of Tyler, Texas, Gracie Green and husband Craig of Timpson, Texas, and William Fincher of Nacogdoches, Texas; grandchildren, Dalton Fincher, Shelby Green, Tylor Green, Tristan Green, Blake Fincher, Brandon Fincher, Paige Fincher, Alanis Harris, Lauren Harris, Kelsey Craine, Kamylle Ambergy, and Caitlin Mills; six great-grandchildren; and his "honorary brothers," E.B. Briley and Charles Perry.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas, with Bro. Kyle Green officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Tylor Green, Tristan Green, Blake Fincher, Brandon Fincher, Kenneth Perry, and Greg Briley. Honorary pallbearers are Lamar Daniels, E.B. Briley, and Charles Perry.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
