Kenneth Wayne Savignol a native of Baton Rouge, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. He was 65 and retired from the Clerk of Court. Kenny was a graduate of Istrouma High School and served in the United States Army Reserve. He was a former Louisiana State Trooper and Deputy Sherrif with the honor of "Deputy of the Year" in 1971. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy O'Connor and husband, Will of Newport Beach, CA; sons, Brandon and Michael Savignol and his fiance', Brittany Breaux of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Keely, Collin, Cassidy and Kensie O'Connor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy Vicknair and Bubba, Jan Young and Jimmy; and many loving nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph and mother, Julie Savignol. Kenny really enjoyed fishing with his friends, spending time in Florida and visiting with his grandchildren in California. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, March 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, March 22, from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. conducted by one of his best friend, Bobby Dale Callender. Burial will be at Resthaven Garden of Memories. Serving as pallbearers are Richard McCormick, Mark Lewis, Stanley Fussell, Mike Fussell, David Denicola, Bonnie Fussell, Bo Bo Hastings. Honorary pallbearers are Whitney Poirrier, John Teal and Brad Teal.
