Kent William Warshauer Obituary

Back in 1986, Kent Warshauer, a physician's son, was quite a character. I had a ghetto warehouse art gallery and offered Kent to place his art in a group show. His contribution was hanging (empty) bomb shells that he found around the Oahu. Hanging ominous black WWII bombs hovering overhead made for quite a memorable art show opening. His contribution was hanging (empty) bomb shells that he found around the Oahu. Hanging ominous black WWII bombs hovering overhead made for quite a memorable art show opening. Especially with his motorcycle gang attending with their huge bikes and black leather jackets, making the little old women, the regulars at art show openings, feel uneasy. He also exhibited tiny bony fragments which he claimed he found by meticulously explaining former Hawaii plane crash sites. "They never get it all." Quite an interesting fellow and artist.
