Kirby "Trey" Hall Jackson, III, 37, of Dallas, died December 19, 2017. Trey was born November 29, 1980 in Dallas, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in 2000 and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Southern Methodist University in 2005.

Growing up, Trey was an avid soccer player who was a member of several recreational and select soccer teams; never afraid to challenge his opponents. He got his first guitar at age 13 and had a deep passion for music. He was an active member of the To Live Is To DFW, the local METCLUB chapter for Metallica Fans. In addition to music, Trey was also passionate about sports, especially his beloved SMU Mustangs. He was always first to hit the boulevard and get the tailgate started for his Ponies. His positivity and enthusiasm was contagious wherever he went.

Trey worked for SVN as a Senior Financial Analyst and was underwriting multi-family properties which financial models for multi-million commercial investments. Trey was also President of the Dervish Club in 2010, one of Dallas' oldest philanthropic and social clubs, leading the organization to a very successful stature in the business community, helping to grow the membership. His presence and outgoing personality was unmatched, and he never met a stranger.

Trey is survived by his father and step mother Kirby and Miliedy Jackson; his mother Carol Roddy Jackson; his siblings Ashley Jackson, Valeria Brenes, and Bruno Brenes; his cousins Carl and Leslie Hensch; his grandmother Barbara Roddy; numerous aunts and cousins; and many friends both personal and professional.

Though he is no longer with us, Trey's spirit will live on in those that knew him.

A memorial has been set up in memory of Kirby for the Heart Center at Children's Medical Center.
