` Lois Irene Davis, daughter of Melvin Harold and Gladys Leona (Judkins) Hasting was born January 5, 1935 in Warren County, Iowa and passed away at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon on December 15, 2014 at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 10 days.
She was united in marriage to James Davis on May 26, 1951.
Lois and Jim owned and operated the Davis Hardware Store in Clio.
Lois was a member of the Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
Her father, Melvin Harold Hasting, mother, Gladys Leona (Judkins) Hasting, brothers Harold Duane, Melvin David and sister Edna Mae Blanchard preceded her in death.
Lois is survived by her husband James M. Davis and son Steven Eugene Davis of the home; son Butch Davis (Marty) and granddaughter Sylvia Nickell of Lineville, grandson Matthew Davis (Tammy) and great grandchildren Sydney, Jayce, Emilea, Ashlynn and Chance of Mercer Missouri, granddaughter Mindy Davis of St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter Karla Nickell (Keith), grandson Kyle Nickell (Tammy) and great-granddaughters Tayler and Zoey all of Lineville, Iowa. She is also survived by her sister Velma Turner and husband Don of Lacona, Iowa.
Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends.
