CENTRAL CITY – Larry Holten Bailey, 85, of Central City, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville with his loving wife of 63 years by his side. Mr. Bailey was born August 2, 1935, in Central City. He was a machinist at General Electric and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his sons, Jackie W. Bailey and Thomas E. Bailey.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lewis Bailey; sons Donald (Connie) Bailey, James (Tammy) Bailey, and Tim Allen; daughters Tammy (Gary) Wilson and Mary Bowman (Dewayne Duckett); daughter-in-law April Bailey; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 27, 2020, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Chris Lewis officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 10:00AM at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor's mandate.
