Laura M (Douglas) Miller, 86 of Evansville passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. She was born July 24, 1931. She married Earl Miller on September 12, 1948 at St Paul's Lutheran Church.
Her life was devoted to her family. She was a woman of faith who spent her life showing love to all. Laura was a 1949 graduate of Bosse High School. She was a member of First Christian Church. She had been an active member of Scott Township Volunteer Fireman Auxiliary and the Darmstadt Home Extension club. She was a member of "Darmstadt Social Club," Vanderburgh County Choral Club and "Sunny Day Hats with Love." She had been a Girl Scout leader and a member of 2 different Clabber Clubs.
Laura left behind a legacy that will be remembered by all those who had the honor of knowing her. She lived a full life and loved her family more than anything in the world.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Miller in 2011 and her sister, Selma House.

She is survived by daughters Pamela Blondin (Paul), Denise Frank (Mike) and Monica Voelker (Charlie) of Evansville; Belinda Pyle (John) of Newburgh, and a son Tony Miller (Jan) of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren Shannon Magnus, Michelle Junkman, Angela Owens, Kasie Appel, Brian Miller, Steve Miller, Beth Leal, Lisa Miller, Jessica Deardurff, Mylaya Frank, Jenny Crow, Nick Arnold, Cheyanne Frank, 23 great grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 am on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel officiated by Jerry Clark, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.
