Chester (LeeRoy) Blaine of Freeman, MO was born April 22, 1939 in Kansas City, MO. The son of LeeRoy and Evelyn (Jones) Blaine. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 surrounded by family and love at his home in Freeman at the age of 76 years 6 months and 20 days.
On June 13, 1987 LeeRoy was united in marriage to Sandy Smith of Harrisonville, MO. He was employed at General Motors (Leeds Plant) until it closed, at that time he retired. LeeRoy spent several years after his retirement building and helping build pole barns. He attended church off and on as a child but then became a Christian as an adult and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Clinton, MO.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Arthur and John, sister, Virginia and 2 step children. LeeRoy is survived by wife of 28 years, Sandy; 2 sons, Hammond Blaine, Peculiar MO and Victor Blaine and wife, Janet, Harrisonville MO; 2 daughters, Teri Blaine, Peculiar MO and Belinda Reeves, Harrisonville MO; 6 step children; 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
