Les G. Wilcox

of Harrington Washington passed away June 17, 2015 in Spokane Washington. Les was born November 12, 1933 in Farmington Washington to Fred and Maria Wilcox. Married Donna Smith in 1953, served in the Armed Forces and returned to start his career in the Agricultural Fertilizer Industry in Harrington Washington. Les retired in 1998 after 40 years of service to the local farmers. Les was a member of the Harrington Lions club, EMT and volunteer fireman. Les was involved in many community service projects. Above all, Les loved his family and grandchildren and all of their activities. He followed them everywhere. He also enjoyed Mack Mountain, hunting and Jeeps. Survived by wife Donna of 62 years along with son Jim (Kathy) Wilcox, Daughters, Kathy (Randy) Oestreich, Kristy (Robert) Mielke. Also surviving Les are 8 Grandchildren: Courtney, Tyson, Jaymie, Dusty, Mallory, Mariah, Miranda and Max; 2 step grandchildren Cara and Cory; and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Marilyn Arland along with numerous nieces and nephews. Les is preceded in death by son Jack Wilcox. In honor of Les, memorial contributions may be made to the Harrington Lions club, Lincoln Fire District 6 and Cancer Care Northwest. There will be a graveside inurnment service at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Harrington, WA, on Friday June 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Cynthia Wutz, officiating.
