Lewis F. Imes, age 81, of Warren, died on Monday, March 12, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. He was born on November 27, 1930 in South Hampton Twp, PA, a son of the late Grafton Imes and the late Ella Nelson Imes. Lewis was a veteran of the United States Army having served with the 11th Airborne Division during the Korean War. He had worked as a Glazer for J & R Glass in Warren for 20 years and served as a coach for the CYO basketball team. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed music, bowling and traveling. Lewis was also a great woodworker and enjoyed many different types of crafts. He was an outdoorsmen who loved camping, fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is reunited with his wife, Patricia A James Imes, whom he married on August 7, 1967 and who preceded him in death on June 21, 2002. Lewis is survived by two sons, Gary (Kathy) Imes-Coplen of Clarksville, TN and Randy (Bonnie) Imes of Bazetta, two daughters, Cindy (Les) Stiffler of Warren and Sandy (Mike) Hensley of Clarksville, TN, and by a sister, Mabel Borrell of Florida. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Michelle, Christina, Amanda, Jason, Candace, Lindsay, Melissa, Haley, Sarah and Kylie and by nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, from 6PM – 8PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren. Services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11AM at the funeral home where the family will again receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the All Souls Cemetery in Cortland where the Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard will render honors.
