Linda Kay Hawkins, 60, Dunedin, Florida, formerly of Rock Island, died September 16, 2015, at Mease Dunedin Hospital.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rock Island National Cemetery, with military honors bestowed by Vietnam Veterans of America, Quad Cities Chapter 299.

Linda was born on December 28, 1954 in Rock Island, the daughter of Delbert and Betty Lou (Kenny) Gibbons. She served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. On October 4, 1975, Linda married Raymond H. Hawkins.

Linda was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of United Pentecostal Churches International.

Survivors include her husband of 40 yrs., Rev. Raymond H. Hawkins; son, Matthew R. Hawkins (Jessica); daughter, Melissa L. Hawkins; grandchildren, Mariah, Mikah, Braylon, Avan, Harper; brothers, Thomas Wangelin and David Wangelin (Stacy); sister, Jeanine Griswold (John); step mother, Elda Wangelin; mother, Martha Wood.
