SINCLAIR. Lloyd Roy Sinclair, 84, of Hartford, beloved husband of the late Sadie (Ellis) Sinclair passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at UCONN Medical Center, Farmington. Born March 11, 1932 in Jamaica W.I. son of the late Stanley and Laura (Bailey) Sinclair, he grew up in Jamaica and served on the JPF for 13 years. He came to America 52 years ago settling in Hartford before retiring he worked a Trinity College as head of security. He enjoyed shopping and traveling but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by two daughters, Leslie Sinclair of Middletown, Laura Sinclair of Hartford; two sons, Roy Sinclair of Fredericks, MD, Winston Lloyd Sinclair and his wife, Denise Newman-Sinclair of Windsor; his grandchildren, Shaquille Sinclair, Tyrel Sinclair, Scott Sinclair, Suzette Sinclair, Roderic Cori Robinson, EJ Sinclair, Roy Sinclair, Jr.; and a host of great grandchildren; his best friend, Charles Morton and his wife, Rebecca, and his good friend, Broderick May. His family will receive friends Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10 AM- 12 PM followed by funeral services at 12 PM all at The Lodge, 130 Deerfield Ave., Windsor. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
