Lois Korber Trakas Paquette Leveille 89 of Uncasville, CT, formerly of New London, CT and Windsor, CT died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at L & M Hospital.

Born in Pensacola, Florida on March 29, 1927, daughter of the late Henry Leland Korber and Edith Markham Korber Roy. She married the late Raymond Edward Leveille on (date) in (Town)

She was a devoted mother and grandmother, great-grandmother and was survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, John S. Trakas and his wife, Susan of Groton, CT; Markham D. Paquette and his wife Linda of Oakdale, CT; James L. Paquette of New London, CT; and was predeceased by her son, Joseph B. Paquette, formerly of East Haven, CT. She was also blessed to be survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister Audrey Perry formerly of Niantic, CT and Worland Wyoming and was survived by her cousin Floyd R. Welch and his wife Marge and three nieces and many cousins.

Lois attended Jordan Grammar School in Waterford, CT; Chapman Technical High School in New London, CT.

She also attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX having been given a musical scholarship majoring in voice and then she attended Brite College of the Bible on the Campus.

Lois attended and graduated from Airline Stewardess School in Kansas City, MO and upon graduation flew on DC3's with Viking Airlines.

Later in life one of her favorite experiences was working at the Children's Museum in Niantic, CT for six years.

Lois was a member of the Montville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her generosity and her recounting of fascinating experiences in her life.

Visitation will be held at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 am at Jordan Cemetery, Waterford, CT next to her beloved husband Raymond Edward Leveille and her son, Joseph L. Paquette.

A Memorial Talk will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 57 Clark Lane, Waterford CT at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Watchtower Bible Tract Society, 900 Red Mills Road , WALLKILL, NEW YORK 12589
