Lois (Stevens) Wedergren, 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 23 at her home in Bryan, Texas.

A memorial service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1 at the Bryan United Pentecostal Church, 2206 State Hwy 21 E, Bryan, Texas 77803, with Rev. Brian Jones officiating.

Interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 8 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Covina Hills, 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, California 91724, with Rev. Clifford Clark officiating.

Lois was born on September 3, 1936 the daughter of Robert and Jeanette (Reinert) Stevens. She was born in Bonneville, Washington and then at one year of age they moved to Craig, Nebraska. Lois married Don George Wedergren on April 18, 1956 in Lyons, Nebraska. That same year they moved to Glendale, California where all three of their sons Kevin, David and Mark were born. Eventually Lois and Don moved to Upland, California in 1965 where they established their home for more than fifty years.

Don and Lois were both baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in the early 1980's, and were members of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle for several years until the passing away of Don in 2012. Lois then moved to Bryan, Texas in 2016 where she was a member of the Bryan United Pentecostal Church.

Lois was an avid seamstress and enjoyed many different types of arts and crafts. Her main occupation was as a telephone operator, as well as working in fabric stores.

Lois is survived by her three sons and their wives, Kevin Alan and Martha Wedergren of Shepherd, Texas, David Owen and Terri Wedergren of Bryan, Texas, Mark Andrew and Julie Wedergren of Chino Hills, California; along with six grandchildren, Melody, Kyle, Lauren Ashley, Candice, Megan and Morgan; one step grandchild, Samuel; six great-grandchildren, Devin, Delaney, Nikolas, Jacob Dean, Ryenn and Emma; and three great-step grandchildren, Drake, Madison and Trent.
