Lola C. Hunt, 92 of Lantana passed away on Monday January 1. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Hunt who passed in 2004. They moved to Florida in 1973.

Born June 14, 1925 in Savannah, TN she was the daughter of the late George and Irah (Edwards) Crocker. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her.

Lola was an avid bowler and bowled at Verde and Greenacres Bowling Lanes. One great achievement was at the age of 89 when she bowled a 204 with a 10lb ball! She enjoyed baseball, basketball, and playing bridge. She was also known for her cooking and baking.

Lola is survived by her son Mark R. Hunt (Cyndy); grandson Fletcher Mark Hunt; sisters Grace and Nell Crocker; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Nell Hunt; grandson Spencer Robert Hunt; brothers Vardaman, Murry, Brown, Frank, Guy, and sisters Elizabeth and Stella.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday January 10 from 10:30 to 11am at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth. Pastor Todd Stubbe will officiate Funeral Services at 11am at the funeral home.
Entombment will follow at Palm Beach Memorial Park in Lantana.
