Lorneva Hill Bartlett, age 87, of Appleton, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at her home. She was born February 7, 1923 near Hector to Ephraim E. and Mary Rowlands Hill. She was a member of the Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry group. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Opal E. Bartlett, and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include six sons and five daughters-in-law: Gary L. and Angie Bartlett of Morrilton; Ronald W. and Julia Bartlett of Jacksonville; Michael D. and Jana Bartlett of Hector; D. Bruce and Callie Bartlett of Russellville; Thomas A. Bartlett of Appleton; and James D. and Kim Bartlett of Solgohachia; two daughters and a son-in-law: Peggy A. Bartlett of Hector; and Rebecca J. and Roy Reaves of Russellville; 24 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10 A.M. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiated by the Rev. Richard Falbo. Burial will be in the Appleton Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, from 5 to 7 P.M., at the funeral home.
