Affectionately known as “Mama,” of Tampa, Florida, surrounded by her family, went to heaven on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the age of 87. Lorraine was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 17, 1930. She was the daughter of Herbert and Mamie Pundt. Lorraine attended Froebel Elementary School and graduated from Hadley High School. She and her husband, Edward Lagow were married on August 1st 1953.

Beginning in childhood, Lorraine embraced her Catholic faith which she treasured throughout her life. She was known for her motherly love, compassionate heart and caring nature. She had a light-hearted sense of humor, quick wit, endless supply of sweet treats for herself and always enough to share with others. “Club” for Lorraine was a lifelong friendship of nine women that began during their high school years. She was a proud member of the Christ the King Catholic OWLS where everlasting friendships were created. Lorraine thrived in the lives of her grandchildren on a daily basis. Taking pleasure as she followed their sporting events and milestones. She was very proud of their academic growth and professional achievements. Her heart was warmly touched by loved ones both near and far with written correspondence or phone calls.

She will be dearly missed, but always remembered by her loving family and sincere friends. Lorraine is survived by daughter, Lori; son-in-law, Bill; grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, and Christopher’s wife, Hannah; nephews, Tom (Jo) and Glenn; nieces, Marsha (Craig) and Annette (John); great nieces; great nephews; and a great-great niece. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Edward; her parents, Herbert and Mamie Pundt; grandparents, Grandma Birdie and Grandpa Tony; brother, Russell (Jo); brother-in law, Ward; sister-in-law, Merriam; niece, Susie; nephew, Wayne, and Cousin, Audrey.

A funeral mass will be held in Lorraine’s honor at Christ the King Catholic Church in Tampa, FL on Friday, Dec 1 at 2pm. Lorraine will be laid to rest in Tampa, Florida.
