Mrs. Lottie Mae (Holston) Mackie, 85, of Seaboard, NC, died peacefully Friday, February 26, 2016, at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Jesse Ladner will officiate. Burial will follow in Columbia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. (Buddy) Mackie; her parents, Gardner Olin and Alma Mae (Howard) Holston, a brother, Otis Daniel "Buddy" Holston, a brother, William M. Holston, and a sister, Lavada Owens.

Mrs. Mackie is survived by her son, James E. Mackie and his wife Ann; two grandchildren, Jonathan Mackie, Monica Taylor and her husband Johnny, of Seaboard, NC; seven great grandchildren, Ariel Butler and husband Blue of Fayetteville, NC, Austin Jensen, Curtis Faulkner, Isabella Rivera, Melanie, Nicole and Henry Mackie all of Seaboard, NC; three great-great grandchildren, Taylor, Luke and Thomas (TJ) Butler of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Marie (Holston) Saucier of Carnes, MS and Jean (Holston) Brown and her husband Jerry of Brandon, MS.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Mackie, Curtis Faulkner, Johnny Taylor, Mike Saucier , Terry Holston, and Ryan Morris. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Saucier. Music provided by nephew, Greg Engle.
