Louis F. Quaack, Jr., 88, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was a retired printer and production manager for Central Printing and Falls City Printing, a member of Garrs Lane United Methodist Church, and a Navy veteran of WWII and Korea, which included serving on the USS Furse. He was a member of American Legion Post 220, Garrs Lane United Methodist Church, the Termite Club, the Excel Club, Moose Lodge #5, and the Guys and Dolls Bowling League, where he served as secretary and president. Family was Lou's #1 priority and he enjoyed travelling, bowling, softball, and UK sports.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years who was the love of his life, Helen Boegel Quaack.

Lou is survived by his daughters, Mary Wagner (Dave) and Allyson Skaggs; sons, Freddie Quaack (Pam) and David Quaack (Bev); a sister, Helen Hubbard; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

His funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Wednesday.
