It is with great sadness that our family announces the death of Ms. Louise A. Beard-Langham on January 12, 2018 at 08:45 in the morning. She passed away peacefully, in her own home, in the presence of her beloved family.
Louise was born to Tommy Floyd and Mandy Beard on May 18, 1926 in Lexington, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Calvin C. Langham and her daughter, Janet L. Kuykendall.
As a longtime member of The First Baptist Church Porter, Texas, she was most known for her generosity to strangers, piety and devotion to The Lord, loving and forgiving nature, and her ability to bake the perfect buttermilk pie.
She is survived in death by her daughters, Pam (Jerry) Edwards and Ginger (Wendell) Taylor; Grandchildren, Theresa (Norman) Wakefield, Sherri (Wes) Weaver, Brian (Tracy) Adams, Jena (Bill) Rice, Tommy Kuykendall, Michael (Victoria) Taylor, Paul Edwards, and Jason (Gayle) Taylor; 10 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
Services will be handled by Kingwood Funeral Home located at 22800 Highway 59 N. Kingwood, Texas 77339. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with a lunch preceding the services beginning at 11:30 a.m.. Following the services, she will be laid to rest alongside her adoring husband, Calvin at San Jacinto Memorial Park, located at 14659 East Freeway Houston, Texas 77015.
In lieu of flowers, Louise and her family have requested that you show your love and respect by making a donation in her memory to The American Cancer Society, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, or Autism Speaks.
