Louise H. Mulligan, 88, of West Louisville, KY died Saturday, November 3, 2012. She was born in Daviess County, KY on May 4, 1924 to the late Joseph Boone Hallmark and Charlie Martine Frey Hallmark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse D. Ward in 1973; her second husband, Richard Mulligan in 1995; a son, Carl Ward in 2010; and a brother, J.B. Hallmark. Louise was a homemaker, worked for the board of education and as a nurse assistant at the Mount St. Joseph Infirmary. She was a member of Curdsville Baptist Church. She loved music, playing the piano, and organizing and displaying photographs of her loving family. Survivors include her two sons, Curtis Dale Ward and his wife, Allean, of Masonville, KY and Larry N. Ward and his wife, Becky, of Beaver Dam, KY; two daughters, Lana Lira of Owensboro and Vicki Haywood and her husband, Rick, of Indiana; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Hallmark; a sister, Judy Hallmark; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow in St. Raphael Cemetery in Daviess County, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00- 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
