Louise Peak Spring, 96, Cedar Ridge Health Campus, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018. She was born in Harrison County, August 23, 1921, to the late John Roy, Sr. and Frances Moore Peak. Her husband, Kenneth Francis Spring, and brothers, William Moore Peak and John Roy Peak, Jr., preceded her in death. She was a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church. Mrs. Spring taught in the Harrison County School System for 27 years, after beginning her career in Jefferson County, Kentucky, then continued her career at Maui and Oahu, Hawaii where she also worked with the Red Cross and met her husband. She was a lifetime active member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Cedar Ridge Executive Club prior to becoming a resident there. She was an avid gardener, loved reading and traveling. She is survived by three children Charlene Jones, Frankfort, KY, Jerry Kuno, Elk, WA, Raymond Spring and wife, Brenda, Cynthiana; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Ware Funeral Home with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Ridge Health Campus Activity and /or Events Fund, 1217 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
