Lucille Readhimer Liner was born on November 14, 1927 in Monroe, Louisiana to Clarice Hathorn Readhimer and Tom Readhimer. She was the only girl of five siblings. Her husband of 43 years, Edwin L. Liner, her parents and her brothers, Cecil, Russell, Earl, and Harold have all preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children, Marilyn Kinney with husband, Clifford (Bud), of Huffman, TX; Barbara Boyd with husband, Jack, of Ruston, LA; and Larry Liner with wife, Susan, of Bossier City, LA; and three grandchildren, Jason Liner, Stephen Boyd, and Karen Boyd.

Lucille was truly loved by all who met her. She was gentle and kind to everyone, no matter their post in life. Her love for God, her husband, and her children was absolutely unwavering. Her Faith kept her strong when she lost so many she loved, one by one. She never doubted God's wisdom, no matter how much she wished things could be different. She was a devout member of the Church of Christ and studied the Bible until she was no longer able to read. She truly lived her life according to those teachings; and people were drawn to her, even when she could no longer verbally communicate. There was just a loving spirit about her that drew people close.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana.
