Lucille Brice Hayley, age 89, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2018. Lucille was born in 1928 in Watha, North Carolina, to the late Roscoe and Annie Brice.

After graduation, Lucille moved to Dallas, Texas where she worked for Crown, Cork and Seal and soon after met and married the love of her life Lewis Dean Hayley Sr., CW4. They were happily married for 42 years.

Lucille, (aka: Lucy or Cille as her sisters would call her) even in death her unwavering faith in God continues to set a Christian example. Through-out life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. She was compassionate, inspiring, a very vibrant woman who went out of her way to help others. She has a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious laugh and a smile that would light up the room as soon as she walked in. Lucy was brought up with traditional values and learned the skills that a woman of her era should - cooking, sewing, knitting, etc. She taught her 3 children good manners, respect for others, and sound moral values. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, Gigi, sister, Aunt, and her love of God, family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, June Hayley of Euless, Texas, Lewis Dean (Rusty) Hayley and wife Kirsten Hayley of Irving, Texas, two sisters, Catherine Flake and Sarah Crowder of North Carolina, sister in laws, Peggy Smith of Grapevine, Texas, and Linda Hayley of Denison, Texas, five grandchildren, Brent Green, Robert Green/wife Lori, Corrie Peterson/husband Scott, Isaac Hayley and Chaz Hayley, six great-grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Green, Brendon Smith, Kynleigh Peterson, Ashlynn and Kayleigh Green as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Dean Hayley Sr., CW4, son Charles Ray Hayley, sisters Margaret Harling/husband Alex, Ethyl Williams/husband Kermit, Marie Singleton/husband Jimmy and brothers Charles Brice/wife Mary and James Brice/wife Ruth.

Visitation is from 6:00-8:00pm on January 26, 2018 at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral in Grapevine, Texas. The funeral service will follow on January 27, 2018 at 1:00pm at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas. The Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving, Texas.
