She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." (Proverbs 31: 27-29 NIV)

Lucinda "Cindy" A. Lynch, age 83 of Stanley was a woman of faith who went to be with her Lord quietly on Wednesday January 25, 2017. Cindy loved to work with her hands. She crocheted and sewed. She was an avid reader and she loved to teach. She was a retired teacher's assistant. Cindy even home-schooled her grandchildren. She was active in Sunday School and she volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran and she was always proud of her service to our country.

Cindy is the daughter of the late Joseph A. Therriault and Angie Haynes Therriault. Her husband, Thomas Hugh Lynch, preceded her in death in 2005.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters: Patricia Ann Lynch White of Winchester, Virginia, Susan Rae Lynch Gay of Grafton, West Virginia, Mary Diane Lynch Price and husband Randy of Stanley, North Carolina and sons Randy Hugh Lynch of Grafton, West Virginia and Thomas Michael Lynch of Tampa, Florida. She also leaves behind her sisters Margaret Winslow of Portland, Maine and Louise Libby of Phillips, Maine and brother Melvin "Buster" Therriault of Dixfield, Maine. Missing their grandmother will be her grandchildren: Justin Russell, Ryan Taylor, Rayna Gay, Chelsey Boliner, Amanda Cutrone, Luke Lynch, Jared Lynch, Conner Price, Tyler Price, Lauren Martin and Whitney Lynch. Cindy's legacy includes 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
