"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;" Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 Mr. Luther Sherrod "Rod" Lisbon was born on December 3, 1981 in Darlington, South Carolina to Luther Will Lisbon and Delores Lisbon Bowman. On Sunday, January 6, 2013, he departed this earthly life. "Rod", as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Darlington County Public Schools and graduated from Lamar High School in the Class of 2000. He was an entrepreneur by profession. "Rod" loved to travel. He enjoyed life. Eating exotic foods was his pleasure. He loved his family and friends. "Rod" will be deeply missed! Left to cherish his precious memories are: his two children, Riyanna Burkhart of Columbia, SC and Logan Burgess of Lake City, SC; his mother, Delores Lisbon Bowman of Florence, SC; his father, Luther Will Lisbon of Lamar, SC; siblings, Jerald Bowman, Shavon Lisbon, Marcus Lisbon, Anita Lisbon, Eric Lisbon, Sedric Lisbon, Jermel (Evonne) Lisbon, Quwande Lisbon and Keyon Lisbon, all of Lamar, SC; Jermaine Ballard of Darlington, SC; Valerie Lowery and Ketra Boston of Timmonsville, SC, Lashavia Johnson of Bishopville, SC and Stephanie Williams of Charlotte, NC; paternal grandfather, Charlie Lee Harriott of Virginia; paternal grandmother, Mary Bell Luckey of Elliott, SC; three aunts, Mary Lee Yates, Lena Mae McNeil and Judy Bowman; two uncles, Nathaniel Bowman and Ervin Bowman; special nieces and nephews, Naji, Tylik, Twan, Shaniya and Keshawn; five special cousins, Mario Shaw, Tyrone Bowman, Michael Bowman, Lavaris Lucas and Shontae Holmes; five special friends, Krystle Burkhart, David Lunn, David Price, Millicent Grant and Nathan Johnson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, relatives and friends.
