Lydia P. Sheridan, 66 of Corder, Missouri died on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri.

Born Tuesday, April 3, 1951, she was the daughter of the late William Cunningham and the late Clara Bledsoe Cunningham.

Lydia and her husband Dennis L. Sheridan were married twice for a total of thirty years. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she formerly taught Sunday school and a member of the Corder VFW Post #4288 Women's Auxiliary. She received her LPN at Warrensburg Vo-Tech and worked at various hospitals and nursing homes over the years, retiring in 2010. Lydia liked to crochet, knit, paint and do crafts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be remembered for being a big hearted, caring, strong beautiful soul.

Surviving are one son, Kellen (Kelly) Sheridan of Colorado; three daughters, Susan Sheridan of Warrensburg, MO, Donna (Danny) Hodson of Grain Valley, MO and Tawnee Sheridan of Fort Morgan, CO; one sister, Billie (Joe) Poncy of Knob Noster, MO; five grandchildren, Darrius Sheridan, Ejyah Sheridan, Trey Hodson, Logan Hodson and Riley Hodson; one great granddaughter, Delaney Sheridan

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday November 29th, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Greg Fine officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at First Baptist Church.
