Lynda "Raelene" Pruitt a long time resident of Midwest City, OK passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 65, from an aneurysm. She was born on February 17, 1952 in Oklahoma City, OK to Alden and Lula Gullett and was the youngest of four children. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. She also received an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Rose State College. Shortly after high school graduation, at the age of 18, she married the love of her life, Donald E. Pruitt on September 4, 1970. They had two children, Michael and Tiffany. Raelene was a faithful member of Grace Church in Choctaw, OK and she loved singing in the church choir. She also loved playing the piano and taught piano. She really enjoyed working for OG&E for over 30 years. Her favorite pastimes included reading, watching movies and playing scrabble with her friends and family. Most of all she enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with both her husband and her mother, and always dreamed of the day she would retire and travel with her husband around the world. She believed strongly in family and had very close relationships with both her son, daughter, and grandchildren. Raelene was known for her kindness, her generosity, and her love of God and friends and family. She touched many lives and was loved by all those who knew her. She was adored and cherished by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will be truly missed and loved. Her memory will forever live on in their hearts. Raelene was preceded in death by her father, Alden E. Gullett of Oklahoma City; and sister, Janice Manus of Oklahoma City. Survivors include her mother, Lula Gullett of Oklahoma City; sister, Theresa Hix of Antioch, CA; brother, Ronald Gullett of Lewisville, TX; husband, Donald Pruitt of Midwest City, OK; son, Michael Pruitt of Richmond, VA; daughter, Tiffany Hatfield of Midwest City, OK; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church in Choctaw, with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
