Osee Malcolm McMillan Jr. was born October 1, 1924, in Garrison, TX to Osee Sr. & Celeste McMillan. He passed away December 19, 2017, in Nacogdoches, TX.

Malcom graduated from Garrison High School in 1941 and then went into the Navy serving in World War II aboard a submarine. After the Navy Mac went to Work for Southern Pacific Railroad as a Telegraph Operator.

He married the love of his life Maxine Bridwell on March 14, 1953 and they were married for 58 wonderful years.

He was a member and deacon at University Baptist Church and an active member of the Gideon's.
Among other things in Mac's life he always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, either telling stories over a cup of coffee at Farm Bureau or just visiting from the window of his pickup truck. He especially loved being outdoors, from riding the fences to check his cows, trapping hogs, or running a trot line he just wanted to be outdoors and on the move. His favorite spot was always in a deer stand with his granddaughter Melody, or on a four-wheeler with his grandson Morgan.

He is survived by his daughter Micah Krauskopf and Husband James of Nacogdoches, TX, granddaughter Melody Barnes and Husband Chris of Lumberton, TX, grandson Morgan Krauskopf of Nacogdoches, TX, brother in law Bennie Bridwell of Nacogdoches, TX, sister in laws Robbie Bridwell of Nacogdoches and Jean Bridwell of Nacogdoches. He is proceeded in death by his wife Maxine McMillan, parents Osee Sr and Celeste McMillan, grandson Colby Krauskopf, and sister Charlotte Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2017, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel officiated by Bro. Jason Lott. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Brett Taylor, Rial Taylor, Mark Zawlocki, Gary Stripling, Porter Stanaland, and Ken Bridwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Simms, Greg Simms, Stan Simms, Aniceto Gallegos, and The Deacons of University Baptist Church.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
