Marcelline Valerie (Crawford) Williams, age 100, surrounded by the love of her family, left this world to be with God on January 17, 2018.

Marcy was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 19, 1917 to Beatrice Marcelline Jolet and Ralph Eli Anthony Crawford. She was married to her loving and caring husband Jake Williams for 40 years, who preceded her in death.

Marcy was a devoted Christian and was baptized in the River Jordan, Israel, on June 9, 1992. Her life was a rich colorful tapestry that she shared freely with family and friends.

A successful professional business woman, she commanded her own real estate company, Marcy Williams Realty, in Houston for over 50 years. Upon retiring at age 75, she discovered the Body Recall health and fitness program, which gave her a new purpose in life and great joy. She became an instructor and trained countless others in this ministry. It was her mission to travel the world over and share the benefits of this blessing. She was truly dedicated to people being able to move their bodies as they aged, and encouraged and mentored positive thinking as a true life coach. As a lifetime certified exemplary instructor of Body Recall she received many awards including "Hall of Fame in 2003". She was devoted to many workshops, including cancer conferences, mended hearts, pulmonary groups, and Jerusalem home for the poor. Marcy was part of churches extending over the United States of America as well as in Europe, Jerusalem, China, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. She also taught at Glenbrook United Methodist Church for 24 years and truly enjoyed giving back to her community as ministry for others.

She did not have children, but she did have two nieces from her favorite brother Ralph Eli Crawford Jr. Madalyn and Sallie Sue grew up celebrating life and many holidays with Marcy, who treated them as her own.

Marcy loved music and dancing, piano, guitar, swimming, deep sea fishing, traveling and public speaking. She also had an affinity for hats; her collection was beautiful and resided in a special closet. She deeply valued education, and achieved her GED at age 87. Always pursuing the high goal of a good education was at the top of her list.

She was a lifetime member of the Houston Board of Realtors (since 1957), Dale Carnegie Alumni, National Association of Realtors Courses, Glenbrook United Methodist Church (Houston, TX) and a 60 year member of the Grand Chapter of Texas Order of the Eastern Star.

Marcy is preceded in death by her husband James K. Williams, mother Beatrice M. Traina, sisters Beatrice Williams, Mary Leiunberger, brother Ralph E. Crawford Jr. and nephew Ralph Garry Pearcy.

Survivors: sister Kitty Douglas; nieces Kathleen Rogers, Madalyn C. Conrad and Sallie Sue Shipley; nephew Edwin MacKensie, great-nieces and -nephews, and her lifelong friend and confidante in both life and business, Mabel McKnight.

She was laid to rest on Saturday January 20, 2018 at Sparkman Hillcrest mausoleum in Dallas, Texas.
