Margaret "Louise" Perez, 57, Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, passed awayThursday May 23, 2013 at her home in Seligman.

Louise was born on January 10,1956 in Phoenix to Byron and Dorothy Steed.

Due to her father's employment in construction, she spent her youth in numerous places throughout Arizona. Her family finally settled down in Paulden. In her teens Louise had little jobs babysitting around Paulden and eventually got hired at the shirt factory in Prescott. Louise went to high school in Prescott and graduated in 1974.

On May 28, 1977 Louise married David Perez. They were married just 5 days shy of 36 years. They had moved from Paulden to Truxton soon after and in 1979 they were blessed with their first child Tonjia and 2 years later 1981 they were blessed with a son Tony.

Louise was a stay at home mom until 1985 when they moved to Seligman and then worked a few jobs here and there until 1987 when she got hired on at the Seligman School District as a Teachers aide. She had been with the school for 26 years and was still employed there at the time of her death. Her last day of work was a field trip to the zoo with the K-2 class. She adored the children in her class.

Louise enjoyed shopping, reading, camping and spending time with her family. Especially her Granddaughters.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents Byron and Dorothy. She is survived by her husband and David Perez of Seligman; Daughter and Son-in-law, Tonjia and Anthony Garcia of Seligman; Son and Daughter-in-law Tony and Trish Perez of Seligman; Granddaughters, Savana, Dezaray, Isabella and Bailey; sister ,Denise Glab of Phoenix; and her beloved dog Rudy. She is also survived by Aunts, an Uncle, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nieces, Nephews and many Cousins.
Services will be held Friday May 31, 2013 in Williams, Arizona at the First Baptist Church, 629 West Grant Avenue. 10:00-11:00am visitation, 11am Service.
