Margaret Jobe died on June 23, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in Corinth on August 16, 1946 to the late Milton Vance and Margaret Louetta Mullins Morton. She was a graduate of Biggersville High School and worked many years for Corinth Machinery and ITT in their accounting departments. Margaret was a member of Central Baptist Church and enjoyed shopping, (some) cooking, and watching a variety of sports - especially basketball. But most of all, "Munny"-as she was known by her granddaughters-cherished spending time with her loved ones, including those with paws and fur. She was a sweet, generous soul with a quick-witted sense of humor. She was a brave, determined fighter who had the ability to make those around her laugh while she courageously battled a long-term illness. She was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Gene Jobe and Wayne Mills.
Margaret is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Larry Jobe; daughters, Rhonda Jobe Harris (Steve), Jenny Jobe Demilio (Peter); grandchildren, Margaret Ella and Lily Joyce Demilio; sister, Sherry Morton Perkins (Steve); sisters-in-law, Carolyn Mills, Gale Jobe; brothers-in-law, Wayne Jobe (Angela), James Jobe (Donna), Steve Jobe; and nieces and nephews, Lisa Walker, Mark Mills, Stephanie Sheets, Christy Brantley, Julie Robinette, Emily Stewart, Dow Perkins (Marlee) and Sydney Jobe. She also leaves behind a host of other family and dear friends.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 p.m.
Bro. Frank Wilson will officiate the service.
