Margie Marsh Walker, 69, Colorado City, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
She was born in George West, Texas on September 5, 1947 to the late Carl and Cassie Pulis Kellner.
Margie was a family first woman, she was a wonderful mother, a fantastic grandmother and great grandmother, a great example of a loving wife. Most of the time she could be seen with a smile on her face and she was always happy to see her children and grandchildren and was even happy to see " The other kids ( her children's spouses) " . In her spare time she could be seen cooking for her family or playing crazy kitchens on her phone.
Margie is survived by her husband Melvin Walker of Colorado City, her son J.R. Marsh of Colorado City, two daughters Shonna Harbin and husband Pete of Aledo and Donna Harris and husband David of Colorado City, as well as by 2 step-children Larry Hayes and wife Rhonda of San Angelo and Sheila Hayes also of San Angelo. Also surviving are her grandchildren Cassie Smith and husband Ryan of Aledo, Amber Guynes and husband Daniel of Weatherford, Tommy Harris and wife Pamela of Colorado City, Shalynn Jackson and husband J.J. of Colorado City, Jake Marsh and wife Mary of Sweetwater, Heather Sturdivant of Snyder, and Donald Marsh of Colorado City. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Joyce Dodson and husband Larry of Snyder and Nelda Patterson and husband Clyde of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her first husband James Marsh who passed away in 2001, by a great-grandchild Makynli Grace Hopkins, and by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
A graveside service for Margie will be held on Monday, July 31st at 10 am in the Lone-Wolf Cemetery.
The family will be present for a visitation on Sunday night July 30th from 6-8 pm.
