Marian Lucile Shartle, 82, Clearwater, FL resident, former resident of Lebanon, PA, died Sunday, March 25th at Consulate Health Care of Safety Harbor, FL. She was born in Reinoehlsville, PA on August 25th, 1929, daughter of the late Andrew E Schell and Verna E Benfer. She was one of 6 children, and attended Lebanon High School. She worked as a Teacher's Aide for 20 years at Harrison Elementary School. She was an active member of Calvery United Church of Christ and worshipped with her life-long friend Lois Eisenhower. Marian had a passion for music, playing the piano her whole life, even entertaining others thru music as her final form of communication.

She was very devoted to her family, and leaves behind her sister, Janet Weise of Lebanon, husband of 64 years, William Jess Shartle Jr.; her children Carol (Gary) Underkoffler of Palmyra, PA, Marie (Raymond) Fellenbaum of Clearwater, FL, Debra (William) Naugle of Mechanicsburg, PA, Crystal (William) Weary of Tampa, FL, Lisa (John) Meyer of Lebanon, and William (Debra) Shartle of Richland, PA; and grandchildren Sheila Weidner, Muriel DeVore, John Fellenbaum, Michael Smith, Jessica Derrickson, Lindsey Naugle, Rebecca Meyer, and Owen Shartle; and 15 great-grandchildren.
